(You may search “public health journals” for a list but there are lots of good ones, including the American Journal of Public Health, the Lancet, Journal of Health and Social Behavior, Public Health Nutrition, Journal of Epidemiology and Community Health, and many, many more!) You may refer to the course outline or textbook for public health topic areas that interest you.

In addition, select a publication from a news outlet (CNN, Washington Post, MSNBC, Huffington Post, New York Times, Detroit Free Press, MPR, BBC etc.) on a public health event in the last year that corresponds to your journal article.

Respond to the following questions:
