Problem Description

For PA4, you are to create a Windows Form Application. Name this project Lastname_Firstname_PA4. This project will extract information from a file named ‘ufo_sightings.csv’, which can be downloaded from D2L.

1.) Add the basic controls to your application that allow the user to use an openFileDialog control to select a file on their operating system. Your application should have logic that prevents the user from trying to process a file path that does not exist.

2.) Create a button that, when pressed, prints the details of all ufo sightings that occurred in the state of Tennessee (‘tn’).

3.) Create a button that, when pressed, prints the date and state of all ufo sightings that had a light

4.) Add a control that allows the user to enter in a year value (i.e. 2001). Then add a control that

allows the user to search and print the date, state, country, and duration of all ufo sightings that occurred during that year. If no sightings were found for the entered year, print “No sightings found.”

Project Submission
