Requirements

The Maripot Carpet Store has asked you to write a computer program to calculate the amount a customer should be charged. The President of the company has given you the following information to help in writing the program.

The carpet charge is equal to the number of square yards purchased times the cost per square yard. A fixed fee for floor preparation is added to some customers’ bills.
The labor cost is equal to the number of square yards purchased times the labor cost per square yard plus the Prep. Cost.
Large volume customers are given a percentage discount but the discount applies only to the carpet charge, not the labor costs.
All customers are charged 4 percent sales tax on the carpet; there is no sales tax on the labor cost.

Requirements

The Caswell Catering and Convention Service has asked you to write a computer program to produce customers’ bills. The program should read in the following data.

The Number of Adults to be served.
The number of children to be served.
The cost per Adult meal.
The cost per child’s meal (60% of the cost of the adults’s meal)
The cost for desert (Same for adults and children).
The room fee (no room fee if catered at the person’s home).
A percentage for tip and tax (not applied to the room fee).
